School students across the U.S. are familiar with spelling bees. On stage, in front of an audience of fellow students and judges, participating students compete by spelling difficult words. These competitions inspired T.V. Ramakrishna to start a similar contest for poor kids in Bangalore, India. A new documentary, “Bee the Future,” captures the essence of this program.
